comp I verde is our state-of-the-art, home-compostable and biodegradable compound that perfectly combines environmental friendliness and high performance. With comp I verde, we are setting new standards in sustainable plastics development. Our product helps to minimize the ecological footprint by not only biodegrading after use, but also enriching the soil. At the same time, the outstanding material properties are retained throughout the entire life cycle.

Fast rotting with significant advantages

In a test with a flower pot made from our comp I verde material, which had a total weight of around 16g, the product was tested under real conditions in a home composting environment. The analyses and the test were carried out in accordance with the guidelines of ÖNORM EN 13432:2008 with an independent testing institute. An impressive degradation rate of 97% was achieved within just 42 days.

During this period, the mineral contained in the material released important nutrients that significantly improved water absorption in the soil and thus also contributed to soil quality. This result confirms the high effectiveness and ecological benefits of comp I verde and underlines the potential of our material to make plastics sustainable and environmentally friendly.
